Civility

I was happy to hear the other day that Oprah Winfrey has plans to host a show on civility. If anyone can bring awareness for this cause it is Ms. Winfrey. Hopefully she will be able to host and air the show before the end of her 25th year season with ABC. I personally believe that many lack civility because they lack basic intelligence (and common sense). One is less likely to be rude to another when thought can create the conditions for consideration, empathy, and compassion.
